Psycho Raiders Retheme

I've played Psycho Raiders and enjoyed it last Halloween night--my dudes all died a horrible and gory death. I ended up giving the game to a friend whose passion is old school horror movies. I definitely need to repurchase it soon!

On another forum I saw something cool about Psycho Raiders, a Psycho Raiders retheme, but, with an unexpected classical Roman history twist: Campanian Night Run. It's worth a look if you like the original game. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery and I thought that this was truly creative.

What other scenarios could these game mechanics be used for? Where would they fit outside of the horror genre? Escape from New York? West World? Aliens?

Man, is that brilliant. I could see the system being re-skinned a lot of ways. Escape from NY would be cool, but I could see this being a very dark version of The Goonies, too. That would be wicked cool.

I just watched The Goonies with my 15 year old son. You're right, a Goonies reskin would work. But, you couldn't just kill-off those poor Goonies, could you?
