Two of my boys and I just completed mission 4. We don’t use the timer (which runs 38 seconds in our copy) so our car selection is more precise. But we haven’t failed a mission yet.

Just a sanity check — are you all having the same results?

We failed a couple- pretty sure 4 was one of them. We are only playing with 3 though, and my kids are smaller.

It needs the timer. We rarely run out but when it does, hilarity usually ensues.

We’re with three as well but I’m not sure that’s a disadvantage. But my one boy is a complete engineer and takes a week picking his card. If we choked that off I’m sure things would become tougher.

Thanks for the word. I think we got lucky on four. Our initial pull of cards were excellent.

I only played the first three missions back when it came out (I need to get this back out sometime), and I remember it being pretty damn easy. It's more difficult with less players I believe.

Scenario three really calls for at least three players. Four makes it plush. But the draft rules make for more versatile mechs with two or three players. Short of a round really going long you have plenty of space for the extra cards you get to draft.
