I'v not read the previous pages yet, but I played this on Saturday at Conn Con. We were four new players, and the guy who taught it did a really good job. Our game (including teaching) ran a little over four hours.

I enjoyed it because it delivers on its theme pretty well without the hassle of dealing with High Frontier. I'd definitely play it again. My reservations about ordering a copy are that I just don't know how often it would get played. The game isn't difficult, but the length is not going to excite my groups, and I fear that even one player with AP could just tank the whole thing.

How and how long does it play with two? Is the solo game worth playing? How long have you gotten it down to at other player counts?

One player in our game opined that there may be limited paths to pursue, and it's just whoever is best at picking one of those scripts and running it better. I think that's probably not the case, but I'm not sure what I'm basing that on. Can I get feedback on that?

The solo game left me completely unimpressed. Won't play it that way again, would recommend playing three hands of the multiplayer game instead.

This is more on the lines of Settlers of Catan than any space-based game I've encountered. There's some science stuff on the board, but the gameplay is rudimentary euro. It has cards to mix things up I suppose. I had fun with my first multiplayer session, but it ain't deep. I think Leaving Earth may be a better choice for me.

This thing is already on sale in spite of positive talk on the Internet . . . I think GMT may have a pile of these.

After reading through some of the comments on BGG, I'm thinking I don't need to own this. What I want is a de-Eklunded High Frontier (by which I mean contents and rules that aren't a constantly moving target) and this, while fun to play, didn't give me the satisfaction I got when I finally landed and retrieved people from Venus or whatever.

I think skipping this is the right call. I was looking for the same thing (de-Ecklunded High Frontier), and SpaceCorp definitely did not deliver. Most of our games are two-player, and this fell to earth hard for us at that count. Not much better solo (but then, I really don't care for solo games).
