Petersen speaks of counterfeit game issue

I bought a Secret Hitler off Amazon about a week ago, but it hasn't arrived yet. There are still plenty of the counterfeit ones there, too.

I'm hopeful that the one I bought is as advertised, and I got the right edition for a reasonable price, but I'm nervous until it shows up at my door.

I used to love to pick up counterfeit record albums. They were cooler than the official ones because they were harder to find. Sure their covers were more or less paper, but they played just fine.

I think I may have picked up a counterfeit copy of Condottiere recently.
It was a Chinese copy without English rules and the board seemed low-res and never lies flat.
No regrets though.
