Warhammer Quest 2 is out

So, yeah. It's great. The first was awesome, this one is just a touch better in almost every regard EXCEPT the inventory management. It practically hides your stuff, which is stupid. There are numerous other changes- no more Winds of Magic, no more ambushes. In a way, it plays closer to Deathwatch (which is kind of a good thing, really). It also feels more refined in terms of strategic coordination. Characters assign weapons, armor, and equipment to slots this time out, with everything costing APs to use. The interface is smoother (except for that inventory thing), and the maps are 3D. Characters are handled very differently...you can get them as side quest rewards, which leads to some odd things...I have like 3 vampire knights on my roster, and you can't dismiss them. But you can strip them of gear and sell their things. Kind of dumb.

So far I've fought the usual rats/bats/spiders but also Bestigors and Nurglings. Yes, Nurglings. Very cool. There is a Reikland add-on you can buy that adds Skaven. I bought it too, along with the extra characters. The Glade Guard is pretty darn good.

Really enjoying it- so far no crashes or problems as some have reported. Think that may be a device/IOS version issue.

There are ambushes. Some are easy, some are insanely hard. Send your scrubs, not your main characters.

Minutes after I posted this, I got hit with one. It was fucking PUTRID BLIGHTKINGS. Scrubs sent in- TPK.
