Top 5 Iconic Cars was created by Gregarius
Inspired by Mr. White in the Amazon/Confederate flag conversation:

Mr. White wrote: (Damn...the General Lee has to be one of the most iconic cars in media too. Where would it rate? After KITT, but before the Back to the Future Delorean?)

What are the Top 5 (10 if you must) Most Iconic Cars?

Mine, in no particular order:
1. Mad Max's V8 Interceptor, Pursuit Special
2. Doc Brown's time traveling DeLorean
3. Adam West's 60s Batmobile
4. Clark Griswold's Wagon Queen Family Truckster
5. James Bond's Aston Martin DB5

Honorable mention to the Mach 5, a personal favorite, but I wanted to restrict my list to cars that were actually built (even though I know plenty of fans have constructed Mach 5s).

Adding to those mentioned above I'd throw in The Munster Koach with an honorable mention to the Drag-u-la.

Bigfoot would be in my Top 5 also.

Yeah, after writing that I realized that wouldn't be my top three order at all. I threw that line in there more as a conversation piece than anything. I actually don't rate KITT that high.

Here are my top 5 (no order)

A-Team Van
The General Lee
Adam West Batmobile
Ecto-1
Time Traveling Delorean
The Blue Falcon
Smokey and the Bandit Trans Am
Bluesmobile
Max's Interceptor
Mach 5

And, what, no love for Herbie or Chitty Chitty Bang Bang?

I'm also partial to those little vans that superheroes ride around in when they're looking for bad guys to assault in that ameritrash classic:

Ha! I can't place it...

But what about this one?

Or this one?

And did the A-Team Van ever have a white top?

At first I was thinking Automan, but he drove a Tron'd out Lambo.

This one is probably only on my Iconic list. Shoot, hardly anyone will probably remember this bad film. The movie freaked me out when I was a kid, and always wanted one.

Oh, I remember that one! Wasn't it just a TV movie though? It freaked me out, too.
