Because the Midwest is a hell of a lot cheaper to hold a major game con in than the mid Atlantic/Northeast.

Lmfao, what the eff are you talking about brah? It's a family ski resort. It's the opposite of pretentious. It's a hell of a lot better than the sub-Econolodge shitpad y'all are so desperate to cling to.

I'll defer to your incredible wisdom.

I've been to Seven Springs several times. It's hardly a haute monde stomping ground.

Nice! Most people from out of state get freaked out by the coffee syrup/coffee milk. I never understood the reaction. It's not like you offered them rat dropping soup or something gross...

Anywho, I had no idea you were from Rhode Island....nice to know another person with Rhody roots on the Fort!

Well, I've never heard so much fucking whinging about an extra three hours driving. Fuck me, count yourself lucky you don't fly from another fucking continent and then have to drive there. Tits.

Nice to hear Repo proudly proclaiming he had drinks with me without vomiting continuously for 24 hrs afterwards. Truth of the matter was he had 2 shots of Glenfiddich after much whinging, moaning and trying to get out of doing either of them. Drinking is usually more than smelling the bottle a bit.

Thanks to all for making my mega journey worth it again. Special shoutout for Saul and Jay who made NYC very memorable. I played 3 games at WBC but, you know what?, I don't give a shit because meeting old friends was much better than gaming with unknown beardo weirdos just because they were looking for another person.

I didn't stay at The Host so didn't suffer those sort of health problems previously noted.

Was introduced to Facebook by Fatties. So there's more hours of my life wasted away on trivial shit.

Enjoyed watching the shocked expression from a random gamer when I was explaining to Flim Flam why I generally don't make it to The Host until about middayish ' well mate, had to shower and shit and watch porn and have a drink before I could be actually bothered to get up'. I thought I might get a written warning or something.

Good times.

If anyone bails who can't handle a couple extra hours driving, good riddance. Given the loudest whining has been from some of those with the shortest drive and only stayed a handful of days, I won't miss their wimpy asses.

I'm in Seven Spring right now eating amazing wood oven pizza and drinking a Mexican coke out of a glass bottle. I can live with the 3 1/2 hour drive from my house to not eat the Lancaster crap.

I'll bet you're surrounded by Toyota Siennas, and women in black shirts, hoop earrings and baseball caps with their ponytails pulled through the hole in the back. Artisan bread is certainly close by. Someone is discussing their granite counter tops. "I'd never give my daughter Pepsi with corn syrup in it."

There's a little thing called the BGGCon in Dallas, and doesn't ConsimWorld do something in the southwest?

I think CSW's Monstercon is in Phoenix area.

Yes, CSW Expo is in Phoenix in late June. Interestingly, there are some campaigning for an increased focus on monster gaming at the new venue given the space and nicer facilities.

Alright then. Who's man enough to take me on in Devil's Cauldron or Last Chance for Victory?

Who? You (taps chest)? You...have you got what it takes.

Yeah, I would love to learn and play through Devil's Cauldron or Where Eagles Dare... they look cool but I've never tried them.

Or play an entire GCACW campaign, maybe Battle Above the Clouds.
