Bugs: Recent Topics Paging, Uploading Images & Preview (11 Dec 2020)
Recent Topics paging, uploading images and preview bugs require a patch which has not yet been released.
You Got Some Essen Suggestions for Jur?
I will be travelling to Essen in 5 weeks time and so can look at some new releases. I will be having my own ideas (like Martin Wallace's Mythotopia = multiplayer Few Acres of Snow) but lately I have lost track of what the hot stuff is by focussing on writing a book and playing mostly old stuff.
Anything you want to know more about?
cheers
Jur

Like Superfly's Gen Con coverage, I look forward every year to Jur's Essen coverage.

They announced they will be demoing the game at Essen, but you're right it's a 2015 release.Jur wrote: seems slated for 2015. You know something bgg doesn't know?

I'll check whether Vlaada will come up with something. Long time no play

What is this? I'm only familiar with his upcoming "Greenland" game.

I'm assuming the Duke got his Atlantic islands mixed up

-If you're checking out Mythotopia then you should also take a look at Onward to Venus also by Wallace. Colonialism meets SciFi.
-If you like Coup/The Resistance:Coup then check out Guatemala 1954 by Rikki Tahta/La Mame Games.
-There's supposed to be an updated version of Mac Gerdt's Antike coming out, with a number of rules changes.
-I think Inis sounds interesting. It's an area control and drafting game with a celtic setting.
-Abraca...what? is a Hanabi style deduction game but each player is trying to figure out what is in their own hand by attempting to cast spells.
-Fresh Fish has this weird 'con-game' cult following
-Uruk II: Die Entwicklung Geht Weiter, probably German only. A refinement on the original card based Civ game which had mixed reviews but looked interesting.
