Road Trip??

Road Trip?? was created by Stephen Avery
Summer is a scant 3 weeks away... and I'm ready. I'm stocking up on cheap rum as we speak and breaking out the tanktops.

I also noticed a sale on airfiare from Airtran. $89 Lagaurdia, $84 Maryland, $76 Dallas, ect.

Soo I was thinking of grabbing Kenyon and either hitting the road or hosting a gaming party again. I'm open to ideas. Anyone interested?

Road Trip: We could do the Great American Road Trip(tm) and stop a day or two in different places, or if more people wanted to travel, we could all converge on a cheap hotel somewhere.

If I host, I will do less driving all over the place and do more things at my house. Its not as problemtaic in the summer as during the winter (when the rest of the family has to do the work/school thing) Though a trip to view the arcane treasures of Swamp is mandatory.

So is anyone else feeling adventurous?

We could- but then he's a MADDOG! he'd rip us to bits.
BTW my neighbor gave me a bottle of Patron for my birth day last week. We drank it all of course...

For what it's worth, the FFG Event Center is just one block away from a nice hotel and two blocks away from a cheap motel.

My road trip this year involves rails. I'm taking the train out to Seattle and then down to San Francisco and back. should be pretty fun as I've never been to Seattle and I was taken to San Francisco when I was five.

I say everyone drive up to Montreal. We can play games and eat fast food 'till our hearts give out.

I can't do any road-trippin' this summer, since we now have a wee baby in tow, and I don't have much time off that isn't already spoken for.

If any F:ATties wanted to head for the Kansas City area though, myself, Lord von Tush, and Gorm are all in the KC area. Good times and the best barbecue you will ever find.

A college roommate of mine has been harassing me to come visit him in Atlanta. When are you trying to have another Averyfest? Maybe I can try to get two birds stoned at once.

I'm trying to block in dates right now to see what is open. I'm home all summer with the exception of a few weeks that we'll be vacationing. Early June looks good though. I'll firm up plans ASAP.

As far as a road trip...Kansas City then on to the heart of FFG?

I could plan a raid on Thaad's big storeroom of replacement minis...

Hope you're not afraid of heights. The shelves go all the way up to the ceiling in there, and the ceiling is high.
