Goin' down to Roseville (MN)...

So I got a booking today to do a show in Roseville, MN on Feb. 3, and I'm thinking for a while... Roseville, Roseville... what is it about that place?? And then I remembered the Arkham Nights ads and thought ahhh, FFG!

Do any of y'all actually live out there by chance? Of course I'm gonna have to stop by the Event Center, so if anyone is near there, by all means, let's meet up there and play something. I'm not sure how much time I'll have, as I might be flying out later that day, but the odds are that either the afternoon or evening of Feb. 3 or possibly the night before would work.

Now I just have to convince FFG to have an encore Arkham Nights event on Feb. 2-3. :oP

Yep, I live just south of Roseville, in Saint Paul. I'm about three miles away from the FFG Event Center. And roughly halfway between is the finest comic book/game shop this side of Chicago. It's called The Source, and it's on the northwest corner of the intersection of Snelling and Larpenteur. Totally worth checking out if you have a spare hour.

You guys suck. I'm insanely jealous. The closest decent game store to me is 2 hours away.

What choo talkin' bout, Stormy? You are in north central Jersey, right? Time Warp in Cedar Grove is a pretty decent game store. I drive down from NY to buy stuff there.

I can run a 'To the Barricades' for you if we can get the players. The first group who played lasted a whole 35 minutes! Otherwise, would be down for games. The Event Center is literally on the other side of my office door. (I live in the walls!)

Indeed. I'll get in touch again with you and Shellhead in January and see if we can meet up. I should have at least a few hours on Feb. 2 or 3.

Btw, please sell all of the AH minis by then... I'm resisting buying them now, but I know if I'm there and they're still available I'll have to get them all. I have some self-control with buying game stuff online, but not really any control at all in person on impulse. You do sell all of your products in the Event Center, right?

Yeah, this would kill me on a visit to MN. FFG should drop some ATMs on the Event Center floor like the casinos do to encourage poor decision making. Maybe set up a plasma donation site, you know, to give back to the community.

Not sure what my schedule is gonna be next semester (I teach at a music college in st. paul), but it would be totally cool to join up with you guys at the center and get a game or two in. Keep me in mind when you're putting the plans together.

So it looks like I'll be in the MSP area on and off for the next few days. I was tentatively planning to go to the FFG Event Center on Tuesday afternoon/evening, but I'd also be interested to meet up for some gaming anywhere in the area. I'm available Monday evening, all day Tuesday and Wednesday evening.

Thaad, will you be around? Shellhead? clockwirk? Someone on TOS said that I probably don't need to arrange anything; to just show up at the FFG place and there will invariably be people gaming. But we should try to pick a specific time to meet up and play an official F:AT member game or two.

Yeah, I'm in town. I can't take any time off from work (in fact I'm at work right now, catching up on things), but I could be free in the evening the next few nights.

That's cool. I'm planning to go there on Tuesday, probably shortly after it opens at 4. But just let me know when you expect to get there and I'll plan accordingly to make sure we can start up something then, or shortly thereafter. You have my #. Thaad, clockwirk, if you can also make it there on Tuesday, that would be great. As long as someone is there to game with, I'll probably be there much of the available time between 4 and midnight.
