The stock latin placeholder text on their about page doesn't instill confidence.

Yeah, it is definitely some guy with access to a large format printer, I'm sure. Someone on ToS mentioned playing a version of one of their games.

He has permission as well as the actual art files for some GMT game titles.

I've known some people who have used him. For the most part they have been pleased, albeit it can take a rather long time to actually get delivery.

The counters are mounted on foam core, which while chunky and easy to pick up, are rather light and sometimes prone to damage. Friend of mine did his own by printing the enlarged counter art onto stickers, then placing them on wood blocks, much more durable as well as less likely to be lost ( the foam ones are so light and liable to fall w/o noticing ) .

The maps are quite nice, its a kind of vinyl material, super durable.

He had a booth at WBC last year.

Damn, I thought this was going to be about huge board game set-ups, not just giant versions of games.

Things like all of Arkham Horror (8 feet long?), the big interstellar map in High Frontier, a full game of Twilight Imperium with wormhole only sections, the insanity of Axis and Allies Eastern and Western halves (or the anniversary edition), or that monstrous Firefly map with included card spaces and player aids that had to be 6' by 4'.
