I guess when I think of Han Solo I'm more interested in personality than extended cgi chase sequences. I mean, it's a trailer so we can't know until it comes out, but this doesn't look promising to me.

I thought some of it looked really neat though- some new SW stuff going on, the Imperial recruiter, the train, the guitar-heavy music.
I'm concerned about the actor though...I don't think he (at least from the seconds in the trailer) is pulling off a "young Han" delivery. All things in context, of course, and he may work fine in the film.
Really hope this one wallows in the scum and villainy end of the pool though.

The F-Zero scene looks awesome.

Plus, taking the role of Harrison Ford during his charismatic peak is quite the uphill battle. I'll put my faith in Donald Glover's Lando charming me instead.
I'm not cautiously optimistic, but I am cautiously hopeful.

I don’t get fucking Star Wars fans anymore.
I get it man. I guess I just find myself becoming less and less of a fan of the abstract idea of Star Wars and more of a fan of a series of films from the 1970's and 1980's called "Star Wars". So I clearly am not the target for this kind of movie. I was however excited to see Lord and Miller try a new and more explicitly comedic approach, but we all know how that went.
Still, even after the change of directors I wanted something that would stand apart from the "grit" of Rogue One. How about some colorful gambling halls? Rather than tie fighters chasing Han Solo and the Falcon, why not pirates, other smugglers, or even Lando? Instead, it looks a bit ... bland. Once again, it's just a trailer, so I can't be certain but I didn't find myself intrigued as much as I had hoped.

Up until this point, I thought this was a thread about a solitaire game I hadn't heard of.

God knows I have had my fill of Star Wars, and don't think this is a needed movie at all, but it looks like a good time to me even if it's not Andy Serkis in the title role with American Graffiti Harrison Ford's face CGId onto him.
Nerds like to make out that they're all full of wonderment and imagination and intellectualism but there's hell to pay if someone dares to be called Han Solo who doesn't exactly fucking look like Ford.
