FFG Holiday sale is on

Picked up both Relic expansions.

I also grabbed Dark Heresy 2nd Edition GM's Kit and Forgotten Gods. Now I just need to get DH 2nd Edition Core, Enemies Without, and Enemies Beyond to complete my 40k RPG collection.

Warhammer Diskwars $10, both expansions $5. Too bad shipping is astronomical.

Yeah, their shipping is generally terrible ($18 on what I ordered), but most of the Dark Heresy 2nd Edition stuff had small print runs and shot up in price when they announced they lost the license. So in my case, it was cheaper than trying to acquire it from another store or eBay.

@Almalik: Yes, all of the army expansions for Battlelore, 2nd Ed. are playable with only one each, as is the base game. It's a great time to get in on a dead game that will keep you playing for months on end without running out of new things to discover. I'm really bummed that they're letting it die. With a new miniatures game on the way, I guess that's where the focus is now.

Man, lots of great stuff when you combine all those companies. Lousy living in Canada...

I scooped up both Diskwars expansions and all of Relic. Almost pulled the trigger on Claustrophobia but I just don't need that game.

So why is the remaining in stock Talisman stuff not on sale? Any theories? Stock numbers low enough they can't be bothered (I thought the reprint of City just came in)?

picked up the diskwars stuff, just one of each i think. and the Archipelago War and Peace expansion.

Are the two new Battlelore factions reasonably playable with just the one expansion box each?

I'm not sure there are two new Battlelore factions? They have two in the base game, plus undead as the only new faction. If you get all the expansions, they're all comparable. The two base game factions are complemented by one expansion each, and the undead has two different boxes. So 3 factions, with two boxes each. That's pretty playable to me.

Yeah sorry, figured it out, Thought I remembered elves and undead as expansions, but it's just two undead packs.

Tempted to try 40k Conquest, but the last cycle (Death World) isn't part of the sale, doesn't look like it's readily available, and I'd be paying through the nose for some of those packs.

I wonder if it would have been in the sale, but there was a bit of a rush on it so they're just letting FOMO suckers like me pay full price.

Nations and black fleet plus shipping = less than Nations from Amazon. Yes please.

Almost got the Relic expansions but just having gone all-in on Talisman I'd rather just unload the base Relic and move on.

4 Battlelore blister packs. $17.50 shipping.

Yeah, that's not going to work for me. Hmm... on the other hand it does save money overall compared to MM even with free shipping. Damn it.

I am devastated that BattleLore is being put on clearance. I'll still play what I have, don't get me wrong, it's not the kind of game where you need a community to play. But it was a flawless game and it really deserved to get more factions released for it.
