Well in my area your " US Eclipse" only generated 75%...just like our blasted dollar. Without glasses the only noticeable effect was the muted lighting.

Just came back from our 2000 mile road trip to John Day, OR for totality. It was fucking amazing. The goddamned SUN went away. It got colder. The wind picked up, You could see stars. My kids lost their minds and my wife wept. It was amazing.
