Bugs: Recent Topics Paging, Uploading Images & Preview (11 Dec 2020)
Recent Topics paging, uploading images and preview bugs require a patch which has not yet been released.
Just five games
Easy. I almost feel like I'm cheating, since it's so many games in one, and definitely rewards practice and study greatly.
2) COSMIC ENCOUNTER
See above: I'm cheating again! It's weird, I get that same "now WHY do I own any other 4-5 player games?" sensation that Faidutti was saying he gets from time to time.
3) DIPLOMACY
My favorite all-day game, and it sometimes makes me wonder why I have any other all-day games.
4) DREAMBLADE
5) HANNIBAL: ROME VS. CARTHAGE
I guess that's a lot of 2-player games, and a game that requires exactly 7 players...but honestly, I think I could be pretty happy playing nothing but Cosmic ever again with 4-6 players.
I'd add TIME'S UP instead of one of the above, but I figure we could always write down our own names if necessary.

2. Arkham Horror + expansions
3. Power Grid + all additional maps(I'm noticing a trend here)
4. Time's Up (including Title Recall)
5. Bohnanza
Runners up:
Battle Line
Cutthroat Caverns
Settlers of Catan
Risk: Star Wars Original Trilogy
Liar's Dice/Perudo

Descent
Arkham Horror
Marvel Heroes
Hotels
Dragon Dice
Now if this were a 5 games to bring along with you if you're the last human alive on board a mining ship 1 million years into deep space with only a creature evolved from your cat, a hologram of a shipmate, a robot and a loony computer, then the list would be quite different.

Thrilling Tales of Adventure!
(Not that I think this is in the same league as the above, but I set out to make a game that I really wanted to play and I pretty much succeeded)
I don't care how many games I have, Master Blaster says "Embargo Off" when that game gets published.
Where is the pre-order page for this?
Sag.
It exists dreamily in our minds.

"Barnes said, "...we're all reducing our collections to five or less games not ever buying new ones again."
... Expansions count as part of the original game for purposes of this discussion."

Holy crap Dungeons & Dragons doesn't even get mentioned until page 4!
Didn't you know that the game was "solved" a couple of years ago?
My list kinda looks like an FFG shopping list.
TI3
Descent
Arkham Horror
War of the Ring
Battlestar Galactica
If you include expansions however, that's probably around 20 boxes (or will be soon).

You know, I actually thought this phrase was only said once or twice on ToS, and we kind of blew it out of proportion by making fun of it all the time. Out of curiosity I Googled it, hoping to find that one post, and - jeebus christ - it's more ubiquitous than that damn Civony ad. They even have TGOO on acronymfinder.com! Are these people serious??but from what we typically consider "these games of ours":
Listen, if you want to talk about "those games of yours" you're going to have to go elsewhere. Skelly's not around to enforce the rules, but that kind of talk in the past would have gotten you written up. Don't do it again or you're going to have to pick THREE games.
Errr does this mean I have to trim my list? :'^(
:clings dearly to Magic Realm box:

2. Settlers of Catan
3. One of the Crayon Rail Games. If I owned it, it would probably be Iron Dragon but since I don't, I'd have to go with Empire Builder.
4. Twilight Struggle
5. Downtown: the Air War over Hanoi

1. Empire Builder (crayon rails, I'd rather take India Rails but this makes it easier to recruit new cultists)
2. War of the Ring
3. Settlers of Catan
4. Twilight Struggle
5. Memoir '44
If I could have five more:
6. Hannibal: Rome vs. Carthage
7. Carcassonne
8. Bohnanza
9. Time's Up!
10. Race for the Galaxy
