My thoughts on Splendor have had a weird arc. At first I hated it, then I loved it, now I'm somewhere in the middle but closer to the latter. As far as light euros go it's strong. Far better than the likes of Century Spice Road or any of the games that have directly tried to supplant Splendor. It also makes a great app.

I have trouble thinking of anyone who would consider this their favorite game, but it's a very enjoyable one that'll please most folks. FYI the expansion is overpriced for what you get and only two of the modules are good.
