Battles Magazine, 5 Bones Apiece

Battles Magazine is now offering all their back issues for 5€ apiece in PDF. I purchased the first issue in paper for about $25 at the time and thought it was a really well put-together magazine. (They run 35€ now plus shipping. Salty, but this is a thick mag . . . runs 150 pages or so.) Good writing, from a broad array of historians and gamers.

The pdf versions will not come with images of the game pieces that the paper version included, but for 80% off it's worth a look if you're interested in the genre.

P.S. They're 3.50€ apiece if you buy 10, which is more or less the entire run save the most current issue.

The writing is very high quality and reminiscent of the early days of Paper Wars.
