1. a 1,000 ft. tall, immortal, invulnerable, humanoid giant, or
2. a 1,000 ft. tall, immortal, invulnerable, anthropomorphic frog?

I think both could be equally cool. Is it out of the question that each player gets a different character with a special ability, so the giant gets a club, and the frog gets a tongue attack, for example?

Of course the frog. A giant is just a big boring dude probably wearing a loincloth.

All players will be the same creature type. As giants, players would store items in big sacks and occasionally drop items when hit; as frogs, they would store items in their gullets and vomit them up when struck. It's all theme and flavor really. You know me... I like the road less traveled.

We hates Pepe, Precious!

I'd have miniatures that clearly differentiate.

The batrachian kaiju is clearly the best option.

Neither, because if I was in your shoes I’d be looking at things that haven’t been done much.

- Scale the entire game concept down to a micro scale and make it about a world of ants where you’re a cicada or horned beetle. Still a giant but only from the perspective of an ant.

- Big ass robots are always awesome and beyond Battletech there’s not a whole lot of games starring big robots around, it seems like.

Very interesting ideas! However, I am (currently) constrained by two things: 1. I want things on a massive scale (world destroying); 2. I’m thinking about developing the theme within the Aethos mythos from Shadows of Malice.

Both are good, but I'd give the slight edge to frog because it's more wild and crazy.
