How the hell did I not know about this? Such a great idea!

The only problem is that, in order to build a lot of the designs they have, you need a fairly unique piece. It may have become more common in the years since I looked at the game, however. At the time the game came out, you had to hunt down the piece that is at the center of the designs (which allow you to build in multiple directions). Most people were unlikely to have it in their collection.

Now, I think that the fun of LEGO bricks is building your own stuff, so it is not a deal-breaker for me to not have that piece. I just wanted to mention it since their designs are really cool, but most people cannot make them from what they have at home.

There is no way in hell I am going to dig through eight bins of Lego to find the right pieces to build these mechs. They look cute though. They say you can play with Gundam models, but jeez louise the scale.

There’s actually quite a few of these. Brikwars is maybe 12 years old now and never fails.

Here’s another:

We played a decent amount of Minifig. It was fairly epic each time we played it, partly because we had such tricked out Lego sets. One battle, in the Mines of Moria, was the best. Balin actually died fighting on top of his own tomb.

Yes, but those weren't designed by Vincent Baker.
