I'm flying to Toronto, Canada next week. Me and Hatchling are meeting up at
Snakes and Lattes
in Toronto at 5:30 PM. The address is 600 Bloor St West, which is about a block West of Bathurst street in Toronto. If you're not still too hung over from celebrating Canada Day and you live in the area, come join us for fun gaming. Drop Hatchling or me note to let us know if you are coming.
That's right!! You hear that Samoko, Juniper and Bullwinkle!? Get in touch yo! Afterwards we can go score some crack at city hall and make a night of it!
Good times in Toronto. Me, Hatchling and Bullwinkle met up for good Ameritrash. First up was nexus ops where the Canadians ganged up on the American. In the end Bullwinkle pulled out the win. Next up was M&M. Hatchling and Bullwinkle smartly stayed Merchants while I managed to collect bounties from every county except France. Hatchling squeezed out a close victory. I'll blame my 2 last place finishes on Canadian home court advantage.
Good times indeed. Our American friend made it safely across the border--despite wearing his F:AT T-shirt with the bomb on the front--to enjoy our hospitality of a torrential downpour that left Hatchling with squishy shoes, rainforest-quality humidity, and our finest tradition: a good, old-fashioned Canadian ass-kicking.
Also, my Nexus Ops victory was MASTERFUL. Like Sun Tzu playing Ender's Game.
It was so great to meet Kingput and Bullwinkle last night! Best part was Kingput telling us all these really embarrassing stories about Shellie. At one point Kingput stood up and acted some stuff out with these big, wild gestures. The neighbouring tables paused their games and listened in and soon the whole room was squealing in delight and pain of embarrassment. It was magic, and everyone felt a deep sense of community. When Kingput finished a bunch of people high-fived him, and we sang the American national anthem. It was so nice.
That totally made up for Bullwinkle's shameful victory in Nexus Ops, which followed the Sun Tzu rule of "If you are one and your enemies are two, even though their number is double, their strength can be half yours if you strike both nutsacks at the same time in a double-foot kick. Hence, a general needs moose-legs."
