BUT since I'm in the DFW area I would love to take an evening to meet up with any F:ATties who might be at the event. Maybe we could go get a meal some night or something like that. I could even drive out to a hotel lobby to chat or play something if people are interested. I will also try to do something similar for my KC friends who are coming down, so doubling up or making another trip wouldn't be a problem.

I'm told Dallas Games Marathon is doing a whole bunch of pre-con gaming at their location in Plano. I assume you guys won't have a car, but maybe we can find a good spot on that end of town and I can transport some people.

I will be at the Marathon from Sunday afternoon and all of Monday. Tuesday I head down to bgg. I plan on playtesting a boat load of games at the Marathon so come on down and join. If playtesting is not your thing I can be persuaded to play a published game or two.

All day. Last year I was there from Fri-Monday. Stayed till around midnight to 2am each night. I think they open up 10am (maybe earlier - don't recall for some reason).
There are food places nearby (including an In N Out. The gaming space also have snacks and drinks for a price. Some people bring in donuts (and other snacks) to share. There is an ok donut shop just a few steps away.
Looking forward to getting playtesting done.
Hmm, maybe I can stay on Tuesday for a bit - as long as I have a ride to the hotel. I can't stay too long as I am sure I will have to unpack the games for the booth.

I squeezed a few games together into a box for my suitcase, including A Study in Emerald, Impulse, Imperial Settlers and the LOTR LCG, but I'm also up for playing whatever.
