Minnesota Trash meetup

So... I know there are a few gamer types in this part of the country...

I'm curious if we would have enough numbers to get together some weekend for an impromptu trashfest of our own. Numbers would dictate location...

So, who is either in MN, or close enough they would consider driving here on a weekend?

Cool idea!

I'm local and could probably scare up a couple people that don't know of this site (or who have ever even heard the word "Ameritrash" for that matter).

Sure---it would be great to have a Trash Meet-up in Luverne, MN--that's only about an hour away! Or maybe Worthington, MN! Either of those gaming Meccas will be suitable and doable for me. :)

(I realize few people will be in the SW MN area--I'm actually in Iowa--about 4 hours from Minneapolis/St. Paul. Now--a meetup at FFG warehouse/tour/something might prompt a possible attempt to sway the wife for gas money for such a trip)

FFG warehouse looks just like every other warehouse, just different writing on the cardboard cartons. It's not scenic, trust me. One of the guys who works there also likes to play Hannah Montana loudly. This is also not scenic.

Not talking any 'work related' thing, just gamers who are in MN. There are several good venues, too - Chatterbox Cafe has a game theme, so they would not mind if we brought games in (they have a lending library, even!) as long as we ordered food, and warned them of numbers beforehand.

I can host another AmeriTrash day at my place on the weekend of June 21. I can only fit about nine people around the table, though that shouldn't be a dealbreaker.

I'm not even sure I could find Minnesota on a map. :-(

Recent polls have shown a fifth of Americans can’t locate the US on a world map. Why do you think this is?

So Thaadd, since you came up with this idea, have you made any progress on it? I haven't been to Chatterbox yet but I've heard it's cool. Too bad we'll be moving away from that area out to the west burbs in a couple weeks.

Nevertheless, you should make this happen!
