Nice to see all the new minis people have been painting! Michael, that looks fantastic, I have also been trying to paint up some Nurgly things.. but not much time these days. Still I managed to get this little guy painted. I have a few Poxwalkers primed, and with the weather getting a bit nicer, I'll be able to prime the rest of my Death Guard fnally.
I haven't had much time to build/paint models these days, but I treated myself to a few Blood Angels models and assembled Lemartes and Mephiston. So far I have only finished up Lemartes, but I was happy with the overall result. I was going to do some more layering on the skull bits and try some edge highlighting on the black armour, but time is of the essence as they say. Really cool and fun model to paint. I did it in sub-assembly because the jetpack is massive!
Last night, I finished painting my copy of Mythic Battles : Pantheon. For once in a long time, I genuinely enjoyed painting these minis. It felt less like "work," and more like enjoyable hobby time.
Bonus! The game is very fun too! Perhaps one of the best skirmish games I've encountered.
I’m going to go over there and breaking that man’s paintbrushes. That shit is ridiculous and makes us all look like toddlers painting with finger paint. Good god. And those are board game minis, not models.
I’ll probably get over there and I’ll find Duncan chained to a work table in his basement.
Well, it's a tough act to follow, and I sure as hell can't compete on a volume/productivity basis. Nonetheless, the next Skaven Blood Bowlers off the painting bench are completed - the Stormvermin!
Recently finished my Shadespire set. Here's a group shot of the leaders.
Up next is the airships for Scythe. I offered to paint my buddy's Scythe set and the expansions keep coming. Ready to be done with em. After that it's a couple 1 off metal dwarves before I pick up another GW project of some sort.
I just want to paint Nighthaunt from now on. I wish they were all this easy.
Not that I ever leave my house to play Warhammer, but it sort of bums me out that the market is going to be glutted with lots of quick-wash Nighthaunts once Soul Wars hits. I really thought I was on to something, here.
Then again, glad to see they're getting a lot of rules support.
The new paints are going to all but ensure hordes of white primed blue and green ghosts. Which is cool, because they look awesome! Super psyched about painting this stuff- I love models/paint schemes that give a good result without having to work too hard for it.
