I have kids, and hope. Always with the hope.

(my COIN games? Tooooooads. But in a forest? Maybe...)

I can't believe the pie-in-the-sky nincompoops who backed Evil Dead 2 (especially considering it was a first time board game publisher), or even the System Shock remake, for that matter.

On a related note, I'm beginning to regret backing Evil Dead 2 and the System Shock remake.

That Terminator/Evil Dead fiasco was entertaining. After they raised over $700K without anything to show for it after a year, they got geeks to throw another $200K at them.

Is the nearly $1M they raised the biggest boardgame KS fraud yet ? Makes the Up Front boys seem like amateurs .

Backed the Advanced Labyrinth Lord RPG book. Its just the existing basic and advanced books combined. I already have both books so don't really need it but I'm getting it anyways. Don't judge me!

SoLong, My World

Just because it sounded kind of trippy. Plus it's only $30. I have no expectations.

Michael Barnes wrote: Hold up- am I reading this right that they ran a SECOND campaign to raise equity to get the game made???????

And it was initially funded almost TWO YEARS ago?

Ha ha ha ha ha!

In the movie Matchstick Men they have a term for returning to the original victim and, posing as police, taking the rest of their money.

I was very close to backing my first KS ever: a Binding of Isaac card game . I'm a huge fan of TBoI and I love the aesthetic of the game(s). But after watching a short video of the basic gameplay, I realized that it's basically a variant of Munchkin. My excitement immediately turned to disappointment. So much for that.

I'm tempted by the Dungeon Degenerates second printing that is up on kickstarter.

In the last minutes, I pulled my funding from Solomon Kane.
I love reading Robert Howard, and this game's production values were top notch.
But ultimately, I just didn't see myself enjoying the co-op nature. Even if it had a unique spin on Solomon's fanaticism.

I'm not so certain I'll be so strong next week with Eric Lang / Daviau's Cthulhu thing...

Backed the Dungeon Degenerates expansion, Mean Streets.

www.kickstarter.com/projects/seanaaberg/...treets-expansion-box

At $40,000 they'll unlock additional stuff you can pay more for.

Same. I'm not sure they have the best business sense with the pacing of these campaigns and their short windows, but as long as they can publish their content, I'm not complaining.

I went in on Pax Pamier KS edition.

New and better edition kickstarter appears to be my sweet spot.

I bought the first edition immediately when it came out--one edition later and I still haven't gotten it to the table. But I'm still convinced that when I eventually do it will be very cool.

No kidding. I remember contemplating heavily backing this, but if I remember it was during a time I already had too many Kickstarters and finally decided to pass. That was a dodged bullet for sure.
