Is F:AT dead or dying?

Well, good to hear I was wrong! I don't participate in the forums, so my only indicator was visiting the front page every day and seeing very few updates. And there have been very few over the last few months. It definitely gave the surface impression of a site in its death throes.

But I'm very glad to hear you're all here and chatting away!

And cranberries, my eyes are crap too - I suggest either wearing reading glasses as I do, or let me know a better way to summarise a 24 page rulebook on two sides of one sheet of paper. Meow! :)

This site has been dying for over a decade.

A painfully slow, jejune, death.

Marvelous!

I initially joined the blog way back when for the banter. This is why I continue to come around.

Don't worry, you didn't slip up and say it online; I just randomly happened to see it when I was going through your house last week.

Some folks say that F:AT died the day Mike Chapel joined.

They were correct.

My only request, if we can even be allowed to have one for a fanastic free labour-of-love service, is that you stick to A4 over the square pages - the text is so tiny when printed on A4 to the extend I've been printing those ones on A3. But A4 or square thank you for the years of marvelous aids.

You forget that the US uses letter sized pages.

I have to keep the design consistent - changing the font size to accommodate the amount of text and/or the size of the page would add even more layers of complexity to what is already a very complex and time-consuming task. You probably haven't realised the amount of work, for example, to get the rules summary text to fit *exactly* into the page size, with all the columns lined up perfectly at the bottom.

If the size is an issue, try using your print dialog to print it at a larger size. But personally, I have declining eyesight and use reading glasses - problem solved.

And Canada too.
See Southernman, another reason to move to Canada (specifically the West Coast)
