I appreciated the BASIC program and that you numbered your lines in such a way to give yourself plenty of room to add more later.

Same. Brought back many memories and not the horrible ones associated with COBOL.

As for the chips, yeah, I think it's a worthwhile upgrade mostly because of the sensory effects. Like I said about War Chest , a brilliant game just for its design, but a step above most bag builders just because the pieces easily satisfy that fidget of many gamers that they end up applying to cards (to the latter's detriment), you can do the same thing and get almost the same tactile response with the plastic chips from WW. But, yeah, you gotta be willing to justify the cost of a whole other game (if not two) for something that is still a cosmetic. I traded for my copy of WW which is the upgraded one and the previous owner hadn't even punched the cardboard tokens or standees, so they're all still in sheets under one of the inserts (I dumped one of them as basically unusable because it made setup and tear down longer than needed (e.g. I do what you do, which is keep all the starting chips for each faction in their bags.))
