Twilight Imperium 3rd
Fire and Axe
Mutant Chronicles: Siege of the Citadel
Arkham Horror
StarCraft: the Board Game

Battlestar Galactica, Space Hulk, Tide of Iron and maybe Doom are runners up, but I need to play them more first. Fire and Axe probably won't be an all time favourite, but for the last couple of years it has delivered every time I've played.

Dungeonquest (GW) with Catacombs and Heroes expansions
Blood Bowl (2nd ed.) base game with Companion, Star Players and Snotlings figs.
The Fury of Dracula (GW)
Talisman (FFG) rev. 4th with all expansions
War of the Ring (Collectors Edition)

The fifth one was tough, others competing for that spot were: Arkham Horror, HeroQuest, Axis & Allies, and Broadsides & Boarding Parties....but the Collectors Edition of WotR pushed it over the top.

1. Heroscape
2. Battlestar Galactica
3. StarWars Epic Duels (In large alliancey backstabbity groups)
4. Risk (Revised)
5. Descent

Note: This list can also just be considered my 5 favorites. The Ameritrash restriction wasn't a restriction. A lot of games could have vied for my 4 and 5 slot, but my top 3 slots are solid.

Battletech - best as single mech-on-mech arena otherwise scenario dependant

Heroquest - started the itch, love the dungeon dressings, has good replay value, easy to teach

Heroscape - buckets of dice, plasitcky terrain (also used for Battletech) and the variety of units makes this a strong

Space Hulk - production value heaven

Tide of Iron - again, buckets o dice and production values elevates this above other WWII genre games

Nice list. Welcome to the Fort nschroedl.

I loves me some Battletech. The first minis (stand-ups initially) game I ever played.

Last Saturday we we're looking for what to play next so I took a look at nschroedl boxes of games and one by one I said I'll play that or I'll play that or I'll play that one or I'll play that one. nschroedl has great taste in games.
