A few other games that we played back in the day:

Masterpiece - I remember playing a lot of that, and to this day I get a kick out of seeing art that was in the game.
Dealer's Choice - My brother got me a copy of this for my birthday a few years ago. For a 40-year-old Parker Brothers game, it's not bad.
Aggravation - for some reason, homemade Aggravation boards were common back then.

So Aggravation has popped up on several of yalls list, I thought it was just a Sorry like game, am I missing something?

I have a sealed copy of a 70s print that was in a friend of the family's attic.

I don't remember it being particularly exciting. but then I was 10 years old at the time. Maybe because it's like Mexican Train dominoes - gets six people playing, and it isn't poker.

Aggravation is basically Sorry with a d6 instead of a deck of movement cards. Aggravation with the bright-colored circles on a black background was more visually appealing than Sorry.

I grew up in a family of 6, so Aggravation was the shit. We had this really old wooden board from my grandmother with cool marbles. When I think family game from my youth, that's #2. #1 is various card games (Pitch, Casino, Sevens, various rummy variants, etc.), which came from the other side of my family, which was Sicilian.
