Well I DID go and play real pinball, Mr. Man. Same place you did. And you know what? I fucking suck at it. So there. So I will play my so called "digital stuff" because it's great and there are no hidden magnets below the table to fuck with me. As to the fucking porn stars...you leave my girls outta this or it may come to fisticuffs.

Does this jam have any actual real tables or is it just ones made up for the game? I might grab it if I can play some stuff I want to learn more of, but I dunno how interested I am in 100% fake tables.

Ya know, your probably say the same shit about Medal of Honor and any other FPS game. "Has this game got any real death in it? If not it's total bullshit. I only want real blood and guts in my war games. That's why I joined the Army."

Look Tuffguy, if you looked at anything on your facebook page other than pictures of yourself as you were rubbing one out, you'd know that there is a pinball game with all the old school tables but that the physics engine isn't as refined as the one in Pinball FX just like I done told you once already.

Seriously, I like the so called fake tables a lot, mainly because they do a bunch of stuff a real table could never do. Granted it's totally different than real pinball but still fun as hell.

I thought it was common knowledge that nearly everyone has fucked porn stars - bar Loter because of terminal ADD. We don't really need to boast about it do we?

Traveling like a fool and didn't have time to check out any of the new (from months ago) tables until the last couple of nights -- I noticed there are some that I haven't even played yet (including some of the Marvel tables and one of the Star Wars tables).

Repoman has set some high scores on some of these tables in my absence, a problem that I am working on rectifying as of last night. I eclipsed his score on the V12 racing table and also on the El Dorado table, although I am not quite done with the latter one yet because there are a few more modes that I would like to explore.

I will probably just pick off the low hanging fruit first and then make my way to the more interesting tables, like Marvel and Star Wars.

Haven't played much of the Eldorado/v12/tesla tables.

Empire Strikes Back and Wolverine are the two I've been working on.

By the time you read this it will be too late (sale end in about an hour) but:

All the tables are on 66% off on Steam right now and I think everyone else here is playing XBox so I could muddle around rocking out shitty scores to my hearts content without any public shaming, soo...

Which tables do folks recommend? I'm thinking Core Pack, Star Wars Pack, one of the Marvel Packs (maybe the Avengers one for Infinity Gauntlet)? Which of the single tables do people love? Epic Quest, Paranormal, Earth Defense?

Excalibur is the best single table.

Epic Quest is pretty good too.

Marvel Vengeance and Virtue and the Star Wars tables are the best collections. Excalibur is great but super hard.

I am, however, reigning champ of that table.

The collection with World War Hulk and Infinity Gauntlet I didn't like so much.

World War Hulk was pretty on dimensional in that mostly you are shooting at ramps near the top of the table. There is some challenge in hitting them in the proper sequence to get big points but overall I found it a bit dull.

Infinity Gauntlet was the opposite end of the spectrum. It has all these really bizarre modes like where the table flips upside down. It's neat and novel at first but got a bit annoying to me. I want to look forward to special modes not groan and say "not this again".

I love Pinball FX though I'm a bit disappointed that when they made the new version that I was required to rebuy the tables I had already bought. And my high scores didn't carry over. I had some pretty good scores on Spider-Man, Sorcerer's Lair, and a few others.

My favorite tables, Excalibur and Empire Strikes Back, I've yet to rebuy.

Also, they made some of the tables easier. Sorcerers Lair, in the sub games in the cellar, there is a ball save I don't remember from the earlier version.

Also the Xp thing is stupid.

Anyway, your score on Rome is impressive. That table is balls hard.

The release of the star wars tables were at the end of my obsession with pinball fx2. Loved Excalibur, but always had an issue with finishing the joust, which was easy and fast points. My most impressive scores imho were probably the marathon ones like Spider-Man and fantastic four. I had a couple top 10 scores on older tables that were a real grind to get.
