Well worth checking out, fellow Canadians. I spent $50 on expansions that normally would have cost me almost $160.

Too bad my location was all out of the original base set. I've got loads of figures now, I need more land!

What sets did you get?

I'd be looking for more zombies and tundra and forests.

I got:

- The Fortress
- The Forest
- Raknar's Vision
- Orm's Return
- Fields of Valor: Heores of Elswin

I was hoping to get the swampy one with the spiders but they didn't have it.

I'm in Saskatchewan. This sale is across the country and on the Canadian website until the 28th, I believe.

Just rent Strange Brew and you'll pick it up.

Its really simple. You just colour your centre nice shade of grey. Then send me a cheque.

Then watch Strange Brew. Or Flashpoint if you want to keep contemporary.

Regarding ordering from the website and from a telephone call to Toys r Us:-
"There's a $10 shipping charge per order, placing multiple orders will incur the $10 shipping charge for each one."
It's very two-faced to advertise, for example, Swarm of the Marro at just under $20+free shipping and to then add $10 shipping.
And you have no control over this because the sets might come from different locations.

I have the MARVEL HEROES basic set, but nothing else. Do I need more terrain? For $20, I'm thinking about picking up another base set, just to get more hexagons. I've pretty much run out of room to store games, though.

Opinions?

This is a quandary worthy of a lengthy discussion on T.O.S. Perhaps even a poll.

(Buy more terrain, send games you need to get rid of to me...)

EDIT- Put it this way: I'd gladly buy six Swarm of the Marro and two Raknar's Vision should you spot them in your local store and be willing to ship them to England.

Yes. The amount of terrain that comes with the Marvel base set is totally insufficient. It's more of an expansion pack than a base game, really. I'd pick up Rise of the Valkyrie. Lots of terrain in that one.

Although to much terrain means more time spent moving before killing. Thats why tournament boards are smaller with more obstacles. Gets down to the heart of the matter.

Yeah, but when you have a guy like Silver Surfer who can basically run laps around any map you can create with the included terrain, it's simply not enough out of the box.
