Lines have been drawn, the masses are divided, the blood will flow. The stress that this causing on me is worse than the Russian/Georgian crisis.

Playing the Russian in Eisenbach Gap...I hate that frickin' ITV.....

Speaking of Georgia vs. Russia...what happened to the thread about possible wargames? and the wanker in the thread that said, "The blood isn't even dried yet..."

The ITV is real nice. Until it takes half or more of the AP dice from a T-72 and vaporizes.

What thread was that?

There was a thread on that other site asking about possible war games based on the Georgian Conflict.

Given that the Russians were using T-72's, you oculd probably build up a scenario. Although amazingly, the Russians had a Backfire shot down.

I would give the conflict a chance to become historical first. With creative use of some rules it could be done. The Russians punched right through, I'm surprised they lost anything. I seriously hope this doesn't turn into something a whole lot bigger.

They lost a few aircraft and one of their General's Aides was wounded. A few other things. Plus they were using the massed Soviet tactics. Sounds like they are still in the doldrums as far as military technology.

Quantity not quality for the Russians. Same way they've always planned on doing it. As far as technology goes they're probably a full 15 years behind the US. I will say I'm not an expert on that though. Given recent events it looks like it's time for me to brush up on my knowledge of the Russian military.

Here is your chance to inject a little AT into Agricola:

The Cannibal card struck me as hilarious. I must be in a weird mood today.

I have an Animeeple laden copy of Agricola.

I'm pretty l337.

Oh how the children at BGG are up in arms over the preorder bonus.

That's because when Agricola oscillates in at rank 27 in about a year, the copies including Animeeples will be worth $10 more on ebay.

If BGG didn't rank all the games, it'd be a better site.

I'm trying to trade my Animeeples for something absurd.

I've put up the offer of my "Animeeples for your Animal Cubes + a board game of my choice"

Think anyone will bite?

I just hope their is a collector chump on BGG dumb enough too accept my awesome capitalistic driven offer.

You could auction your Animeeples through some funky Knizia-style rules.

The civil war was short lived.

We come to bury Agricola, not to praise it...
