Your go-to games for a specific player count

Do you have go-to games you always propose for a specific player count? I have a bunch of them:

6 Players: Dune
5 Players: Battlestar Galactica
4 Players: Chaos in the Old World
3 Players: March of the Ants

Depends on mood and who the players are, of course, but I have a couple:
2 players: Volt, Neuroshima Hex!, Theseus
3 players: The King is Dead, Nexus Ops
4 players: Guards of Atlantis, Terminator: Genisys
5 players: Nemesis, Wiz-War
6 players: Cosmic Encounter, Dune, Cosmic Frog
7 players: Spartacus

If I have 5 players, I'm suggesting Modern Art

I don't have go-to games for a specific player count, but I have a sharp awareness of games that do have an optimal player count, and BSG (base game) is a great example. I disagree with the conventional wisdom that Dune must be played with 6 players, when it is a still a fine game with 4 or 5 players. Eventually, I would love to try 7- or 8-player Dune with the modern GF9 edition.

and if we have exactly 6 I'll suggest Yacht Race.

Remove all sharp objects from the room before you start.

Most auction games play better with more players, so if that's the type of game we want but only have three players, I pull out High Society. Although it works with four or five, it really comes into its own with just three -- its unique "losing condition" becomes a much greater consideration. Navigating through the multiple ways in which you can lose is a delightful puzzle.
