Does anyone have Old West 28mm miniatures? was created by El Cuajinais
I've been reading up on Deadlands Reloaded and am super interested in trying to run a campaign later this year. Do any of you have Old West miniatures/buildings for sale or trade? Do any of you have experience with the Savage worlds version of Deadlands? Is it worth the effort to try to put together some pdf buildings and get some minis? This looks to be like a RPG/Tabletop hybrid, plus the setting is awesome. On paper it sounds too good to be true, which is why I'm considering all the hassle that table top and RPG's entail.

DP, but let me add this: Get with Jexik as he's selling his Heroscape stuff. (SEE BELOW)

Jefe, I have a partial answer for you: Heroscape.
There's a couple of sets that have Western figs. There's maybe 4 cowboys that are all unique, and there's a set of 3 indians that are all unique as well as an indian chief dude.
Ebay Heroscape Cowboys, Mohicans, and Brave Arrow. Deadeye Dan, Guilty McCreech, James Murphy and one more cowboy I cannot, for the life of me, remember.
time to play some heroscape again.
And FTR: PDF buildings are really easy, and if you fill them up with tissue paper or something else, they can have some heft to them and be "more permanent". At one point I made some castles, sprayed them with some sealer, then poured some Envirotex Lite over them. Turned them into plastic buildings. Not the best idea, to be honest, but I still have one of them.

I don't have any to sell but if you are searching ebay you might also look for Ertl cowtown sets. They are slightly smaller than 28mm scale but they work well with miniatures straight out of the box and with a little weathering they are awesome. Also a good way to get a herd of cattle up for stampede goodness.

I used to play Deadlands (the old Pinnacle orange books). I suggest you steer clear of the actually Deadland minis. They are all sorts of crazy sizes and do not scale well. Foundry makes some good cowboy miniatures and Steve Jackson games had a set of miniatures (steam punk maybe) that had some awesome mad scientists in it.
