Just got the word WotC isn't actually going to the show this year. Fuckery. And of course it's the one show where I can't think of someone else I know to work for off the top of my head. Sooooo, anyone got the line on who needs booth work?
I've never been to Comic Con. My friend is trying to get me to go to San Diego next year, which will be an expensive trip. I don't have a huge interest in it.... is there much gaming at these things? Seems like it's mostly tv and movies these days.
That really sucks about WotC. Me and my wife are planning on coming for the first time this year. Are there other companies there that will have at least some board game stuff? My wife really wants to come because of the tv and movie stuff, but I'm hoping there is at least a little bit of game stuff there (crosses fingers)
Not much game stuff. A few sellers. Mayfair usually has a booth (I think?). Some other randos? Fuck, I dunno. I run D&D all day and am completely drunk the whole time just waiting to go out on the town again. I only ever buy art when I'm there. Def check out artist's ally, it's pretty awesome and you can score some amazing stuff.
Thanks for the feedback Matt. I think we might skip it and save our pennies for Gencon next year, and go again to Philly comic con which is fairly close to us. Philly is pretty cool. We got to meet Spike this year (James Marsters) and the one and only William Shatner. Lots of fun.

You could try KublaCon. I've not gone but I've heard good things about it. The trouble is that it is over the memorial day weekend which seems to always be booked for me. I'm definately trying it out one day though.
