So ConnCon is this upcoming weekend...what's everyone bringing in terms of games? Anyone want to play anything in particular? I haven't done a Con before, so I'm not really sure what to expect.

I'm going on Saturday but hadn't thought about what to bring. Probably New Era as I'm always looking for a chance to teach/play it. I might bring Kolejka as well. I'm signed up for a session of Nations but I'm not sure yet if I'll do it or not.

Here's what I would suggest.

Bring a few games that you'd like to try and get played. The thing is, the time is going to go by much faster than you expect and maybe you'll get one of those played. Maybe not. Not because people won't want to but because there will be great games being played all the time.

No need to bring the whole bookshelf with you.

If there was something offered on the schedule that you REALLY wanted to play, signing up for it in pre-reg was the way to go. Otherwise, there will be non stop open gaming especially with your F:AT brothers and sisters.

Be open to learning a new game or two. Be open to teaching a new game or two. The cool thing is we are all quasi-intelligent gamers so teaching is much easier. We all know the basics.
