I want to trash Portland - Ameritrash Friday! was created by Amontillado
This Friday at 7pm we'll have our first Ameritrash night on Portland's west side.
Please RSVP here .
What: Ameritrash! (probably Runewars this time)
When: 7pm, Friday, April 8.
Where: (see below)
* The location will be at a site near the intersection of 231 and Cornell.
* The host doesn't want to broadcast the location to the general public, so RSVP here and you will be sent a Geekmail with the exact private location.
* There is a soda machine on site, but this gathering won't be catered.
Looking forward to seeing you!
-Shannon
Portland (Oregon) is chok-full of board game players, but most of the gatherings bill themselves as Euro-oriented. "Euros at the Guardian" for instance.
Myself, I'd like a chance to dig into more AT titles. I live of the west side and would like to get together to actually play a lot of these titles that are gathering dust on the shelf.
I'm 42, so I'm all growed up and wouldn't mind Cosmic and beer or suchlike. Maybe some Doom, etc etc.
Is anybody out there interested?

Go to Gamestorm in Vancouver (March 24-27). There's a lot of great AT games on the schedule there, and many more off-schedule, no doubt.

May not be a bad idea to check out
www.heroscapers.com
and look for HS events in Portland or Salem, head to a HS tourney and meet some people. 2c advice is free of charge! :)

Have you been to Guardian Games just around the corner from Produce Row?
It's in SE between Grand and the river, the the warehouse area. It's a pretty awesome store, tons a open game tables and demo games. I saw people playing RPGs, board games, Warhammer and CCGs. You should have no trouble finding tons of gamers there. They also had a used game section. When I was in Portland a few months ago, I got a couple OOP games pretty cheap, then taught my friend how to play Summoner Wars with the store demo copy.
