What QUOTE(s) are you repeating?
and
"Nothing, I want nothing" - I say this one a lot... or used to anyway.

My "friends" line is in NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN, grumbled by Llewellyn when he meets the Woody Harrelson assassin in the Mexican hospital when he mentions he was also in Vietnam.JonJacob wrote: I quote lots of Cohen Bros. movies myself.
'There's plenty of art right in that ring'
'We're men, we wrestled!'
'Man it's hot in here'
' Throw a rock in here and you're bound to hit one... and do me a favour, throw it hard.'
'Where's my honey!?'
... well mainly two films from the same time period actually. Although I've quoted a lot of Lebowski over the years too.
"That supposed to make us friends or somethin'?" - can't recall
"Mink is Eddie Dane's boy." -MC
"When there was no crawdad to be found, we ate sand." - OBWAT
"Now prison life is structured..." - OBWAT? not sure
"Well, that's like, your opinion, man." - BL
"I'm shomer shabbas." - BL
The first three of yours here are BARTON FINK. not sure about the latter two. The first reads like THE MAN WHO WASN'T THERE with its noirish banter. But could also be read as the yukyuks from A SIMPLE MAN. Or something else entirely, I am just consumed by Coen Bros.
Couple more:
"Do you know what happens to nosy fellows? Huh? Do ya?"
"In deference to you, Kent, it's like lasing a stick of dynamite."
" One plus TWO plus one plus one." (Same source: "It... the, there--there are fla-- FLAMES on the sideofmyface..."

Barton Fink
Miller's Crossing
A Simple Man
The Man Who Wasn't There
Blood Simple
Although if you ask tomorrow I might give a different answer.

"And...here...we...go..."

Barton Fink: "Because You... Don't... Listen!"
Miller's Crossing: "Like... mud"; "It ain't elves!"
Hudsucker Proxy: "...and they dock you!"; "Go.... Eagles!"; "Is that a blue letter?!" (always useful when my wife gets an overdue notice from the library)
Other quotes from my very favorite movies:
Mulholland Drive: "This is the girl"; "What'd I say?"; "Excellent choice, Adam" (useful soooo often at work, but I just mutter to myself since no one has heard of it)
Glengarry Glen Ross: "Fuck the lot of you, fuck you all"; "You're weak"; "Second prize is a set of steak knives."; "If everyone thinks one thing, then I say, bet the other way"... and I'll just stop there.

Yeah, lots of great quotes from No Country but the best ones, like most Coen screenplays, are too long and would be more stories than quotes. I'm thinking of lots of Tommy Lee Jones lines here

Basically. In color tho.
John Ford flick starring John Wayne as an American boxer going back to his family's home in Ireland.
Quote tax: "There'll be no locks or bolts between us, Mary Kate... except those in your own mercenary little heart!"

Hmm, the other two lines after this are ones that I do use at times: "English, motherfucker, do you speak it?" and "say what again [etc.]".Jexik wrote: What ain't no country I ever heard of! Do they speak English in what?
