Would also accept some of the mixes and especially transitions in Alive 2007.
The moment in track 13 after an incredibly long build up into the bass hook after Human After All/Together at around 5:15 raises the hair on my arms every single time if the volume is loud enough.

I'm not a huge music guy but I really respected these guys. Fantastic music. I must have heard the Tron Legacy soundtrack more times than I can count.

Derezzed from TRON:LEGACY was a hell of a way to come back. They'd been gone for a bit and this thing dropped and I was "oh, they seem to be fine."
It was like they were Daft Punk, they got quiet, all these folks like Skrillex, deadmaus, and others started up, filling the void, and then Daft Punk was there again, being better than them at what they do and not even trying really hard.
Their collaborations are almost always the best their collaborators have ever done. Pharrell is good and has done great work in his own right, but he'll be cashing Get Lucky checks for the rest of his life.
Would The Weeknd have played the Super Bowl if he didn't have Starboy?

So sad! They were -incredible- from Discovery on. Every one of their best tracks is completely distinct and has a once-in-a-lifetime sound. The thing is, they were really kind of a grown folks band despite the 90s clubby stuff...listening to RAM it is as much Fleetwood Mac, Chic, and Alan Parsons as it is anything contemporary.
Digital Love is one of the best for sure, up there with Face to Face, HBFS, One More Time, Instant Crush, and the ubiquitous Get Lucky.
I feel almost like when an artist has died...I was really hoping they would tour again, I remember watching that Alive stuff and thinking I might be willing to go to Coachella to see that.
What a band...they didn’t do tons of stuff, but what they did was singular and special.

This is too bad as they did a lot of great stuff including one of the best movie soundtracks ever. My favorite song of theirs is Instant Crush.

I really love their music. This is legit depressing.
I'd suffer more Tron sequels if it got us more Daft Punk.

I’ve been watching some of the videos today and it dawned on me that they have a very, very unique thing that really only Revolution-era Prince ever captured. They make you feel like that by listening to their music you are entering into their world, a place of their specific aesthetics, values, and obsessions. Whether it was Interstella 5555 or the Get Lucky video, you feel like they are the only band that matters at that moment because you are in their world.
So many stunning visuals the lucite guitars, robot hands on fret boards, all the Leiji Matsumoto stufff...

Also when they bring the beat back in One More Time is one of the most perfect moments in all of music.
