I went there yesterday afternoon, and all the rest of the day my tummy felt like love.

Chag sameach you glorious bastards. Latkes own. Need to make some up tonight.

Oddly, my grandfather used to believe that bacon fat made for the best latkes. He was otherwise fairly orthodox. I just use jam.

Free Times Cafe on college also used to be pretty good - they and Caplansky should have a showdown one year.

Reins Deli take-out last night. They were kind of meh.

We'll do homemade this weekend and maybe the last night. Probably yukon gold one night and sweet potato another night.

Hannukah is an eight-day celebration to commemorate when Judah the Hammer kicked the shit out of the Seleucids with nothing but God's wrath and a plate of latkes.

One of my friends turned 35 a couple years ago, and his birthday fell on the first night of Hannukah. In celebration, he had people over for latkes. His house smelled like a Denny's all night, but they were delicious.

I could go for some right now, actually...
