Any one tried this one? You back candidates for the crown, Make deals, then play a card that changes their standing, then everyone votes on it. The person who voted the most (positive or negetive) awards the bonuses and penalites associated with it. You can also play as many events as you want which generally screw others or help yourself.
I'e had the game for a while but have not gotten it to the table. My group is particuliarly viscious when negotiating so I think it might be fun. I could see though that with the wrong group this game might be broken.
Also One criticism: I like Phil Folio art cartoons but it didn't seem to go with the game very well.

I like it a lot, though I also haven't been able to get it on the table much lately.
I think the mechanics are really unique and force you to make some tough decisions in your negotiations and voting. It's also got lots of opportunity for back stabbing and well timed "reveals".
It is pretty dependent on how everyone you're playing it with takes it so I could see it sucking for some people, but I think most dudes on here would be into it.

Yeah, i bought mine used from Greg S. I asked him if the game was broken and he replied that he just didn't care for the gameplay. So I was thinking hmmmm... Then I'll probably love it
BTW for all the trashing he gets around here- he really is a nice guy. I hate his choice of games...but a nice guy nonetheless.
