Okay here's the deal. Based upon similar sites with similar traffic, we projected that through Google ads and Amazon commissions that Fortress: Ameritrash could be a self supporting website. As it turns out, in our first year we barely squeezed out enough to cover server fees and domain registration. There are still start up costs to cover - software, templates, etc. Additionally, there are improvements that we would like to make to the site during 2009 that will require purchasing additional software. Although we hate to to do it, we have decided to ask for donations.

Anyone making a donation during this crucial time in the establishment of Fortress: Ameritrash will be considered a Contributing Founder of the site.  We will be creating a special page in the community section which will display your avatars so that future members will know who the hell was responsible for providing the funds to establish Fortress: Ameritrash.   

You can donate via PayPal by clicking the "Make a Donation" button. This will take you to PayPal, where you can fill out the form and make your donation. We'll contact donators via the e-mail address used to make the payment to confirm their user name for inclusion on the Contributing Founder page.
