I'm accompanying my wife this weekend to I guess you'd call it west metro St Louis, O'Fallon. I'm looking for a game store on Saturday morning slash afternoon to try and find some hard to locate items that might be neglected on a shelf, and avoid the excessive shipping I'm charged from the US. I've got a couple in mind but would appreciate any tips from a local if possible, as to which would be best. We have really great shops with cheap prices up here but some things are just not around right now and I'm looking to kill some time.

The Fantasy Shop is your best bet. It's a chain of hobby stores and the St. Charles location would be the closest (plus it's the biggest). The manager at that store is a good buddy of mine.
Miniature Market has an OK but not great selection of Ding & Dent games on their shelves and you can order anything from their site and have them bring it out front. That's South of the City though and likely a bit of a drive from where you're at.
