Favorite games was created by Schweig!
Since more and more of you are either turning your back towards, or getting banned/suspended from the mighty database that is TOS, I opened this topic to learn your favorite games.

I think it would be best to just write down one or several TOP lists, of indifferent lengths, I don't care.

I will start out by posting one list per genre (war, AT, euro) with a length of 5 each:

War game
• Up Front
• Ambush
• Close Action
• Napoleon at Leipzig
• Thunder at Cassino

Ameritrash
• Battlestar Galactica
• Awful Green Things from Outer Space
• Fury of Dracula
• Wrasslin'
• Time Agent

Euro
• Primordial Soup (Ursuppe)
• Race for the Galaxy
• Galaxy Trucker
• Tom Tube
• La Citta

Schweig, is Galaxy Trucker really a Euro?

From watching a very detailed description of the game it appears to have a ton of luck involved and a lot of theme to go with it. I can't imagine being easily able to slap on some agricultural growing theme. It's one that I have high on my 'soon to buy' list because of the high luck factor in both pulling tiles and rolling dice of destruction.

I'm not much of a war-gamer (I'm not opposed to them, I just have very little experience of the):

War game
• Monsters Ravage America
• Star Wars Risk: Clone Wars
• Warhammer 40,000
• The Creature That Ate Sheboygan
• Starship Troopers

Some are Britrash, but that's just Semantics

Ameritrash
• Arkham Horror
• Descent
• Android
• Blood Bowl
• Space Hulk

I can only think of two I would ever play again, and one of those is an AT hybrid.

Euro
• Settlers of Catan: The Card Game
• Android

Top Game Ever:

Fury of Dracula (FFG)

I'm not going to categorize...but here goes:
Axis and Allies (Not sure which variety. I like the original but the revised edition makes some needed changes and eliminates the early battles that would knock somebody out of the game by the 2nd or 3rd turn. I think of them all, Pacific is my favorite because it gives the most variation of moves)
The Fleet Series of Games (These was a set of games by Victory Games from the mid to late 80's. It was a more or less abstracted version of modern naval combat (you don't plot out every missile in excruciating detail). Of these, my favorite is 2nd Fleet because that is Tom Clancy land for the most part.)
The Crayon Rail Games (I like them all but I give the overall nod to Iron Dragon for it's foremen and ships. Gives a nice added touch to the game)
Twilight Struggle (I've only played it a couple times but it manages to capture the essence of the Cold War very well)
Settlers of Catan (I don't think I really need to say much about this one)
Samurai Swords/Shogun (Haven't played this one is a while but it's a nice diversion)
Eisenbach Gap (Don't have the others yet....but this one is a good simple version of "modern" combat. Reminds me alot of Firefight from the early 80's).
Axis and Allies Minis (I've played both the land and Naval minis. The nod goes to the Naval minis)

Some games that I think might have potential if I play more of them:
Panzer Grenadier (I only played the first couple Airborne missions. I think if I played some more of the other scenarios I might like this one more)
Flying Colors (Nice Age of Sail game)
Wooden Ships and Iron Men (I'd like to play one of the large fleet actions one of these days)

I loves me some WIN PLACE & SHOW. I'm such a whore for that game. Gamblin', whippin' the ponies, that's some good times there. SPEED CIRCUIT is a good game too.

My mostest favoritist game? ARKHAM HORROR. I could play that thing all day. Hmm. I could play that thing all day again.

I like BOGGLE too. I can come up with some humdingers in that game. I found d-e-r-r-i-n-g-e-r once.

TITAN is something else. That is the best strategy/tactics mix I've ever played.

I would not call Galaxy Trucker a euro in the slightest. The second phase of the game, when stuff is coming at you is way random.

I like the game alot.

Now I just have to figure out where I put it/left it :(

Thaadd, given the size and heft of the box how could you have misplaced?
