*Sigh* Conspiracy was one of the games I gave away about twenty years ago. Survive! was also part of that give away package. Oh well... c'est la vie.

Funny anecdote about American Roulette: When the casino whre i worked first opened, we only offered European roulette to ur customers-- UNTIL THEY COMPLAINED THAT THEY SHOULD HAVE THE OPTION OF PLAYING AMERICAN ROULETTE!! Their argument was that the house was somehow cheating them!

Oh well, You know what they say about fools and their money (it's generally true btw).

Do you still offer European Roulette at your casino? If so, does American Roulette get more action?

Yes we do still offer Euro roulette, and YES, believe or not, American roulette gets more action.

Management isn't complaining.

Interesting. I was also fascinated when you told me that your casino allows its guests to have basic strategy cards at the blackjack tables.

I have to think this is a clever strategy by management. The casino guest sits there with his basic strategy card and on the whole gets to play longer than most lumps but in the end the casino still grinds him out because he came to the table undercapitalized.

His session bankroll was not large enough to allow him to survive a bad streak and ride a good one.

I can't watch youtube from work...

but I assume this is wii mario kart you are discussing, weeks? That game rules. The wheel control mechanism will first strike you as not as touchy as a typical controller, and thus not as good- then you will realize its way more fun.

I still can't figure out the sliding thing around corners where you get a speed boost. Any super video gamer types want to give me the how to? Internet tutorials are useless because they assume you know how to do this from the previous 50 mario kart games.

My videos contain very little discussion, you should know that! HA! But driving on manual for the speed boost is the ONLY way to play for maximum fun.

You can see me do this on the video after I land off the first ramp on the Jungle track.

All you do is turn into a corner and hold down the "B" button umtil you get sparks

Blue sparks will give you a small speed boost and orange sparks will give you a bigger boost. Once you get sparks , release the "B" button.

Practice on the solo time trials and use the track I use in the video, the spot after the first jump is very forgiving and the perfect place to practice the speed boost.

Thanks Weeks. looking forward to watching the video tonight.

Hopefully pierre the eurosnoot is on. I find him slightly hilarious. You need to do a "clearclaw debates pierre" episode and invite the real clearclaw, and not tell him its a farce and that pierre is fake.

It was a good podcast, but why are there no special guests any more?

You mean "special" guests like the "Ameritrash man" or actual guests?

I have wanted to do a show with an actual guest. The closest high profile gamers to me are Chapel in Austin and Aldie and Derk in Dallas.

I think a video tour of the innerworkings of BGG would be great if Aldie or Derk would approve.

A debate with Derk on camera would be great with the Ameritrash man

Perhaps a documentary on Chapel and his game nights, but this might be a snoozefest.

If any of the parties I mention here are interested in appearing on "The Dice Lounge" please contact me by my e-mail on F:AT or my personal e-mail:

I am open to any suggestions as well and if you are in the Houston area please feel free to contact me for some gaming and if you want an appearnce on "the Dice Lounge"

I think everybody would be interested in seeing a lot of you guys that post here and on other websites.

I meant "special" guests.

I have no interest in anything "high profile" gamers have to say. Designers might be interesting, though.

Yeah, the designers are the real stars of this hobby. Just kidding weeks.
