I am up to the last boss now. It has been fun. My save time counter says about 21 hours, that sounds right. It has almost worn out its welcome, so ending right now is a perfect time to finish the game. I joined the guild of gold mask religion people I found, their healing potions are some sort of wine which is awesome.
I thought I was going to try to platinum trophy it but a couple of the trophies are just some annoying bullshit (beat the intro boss that you're supposed to lose to? Fuck off). Moreover, you'd have to cheese the game to finish it with both endings without playing through it again. No thanks.
Overall, good solid fun. WAY worth the 15 dollar price, it's a big game with some challenging fights. I will say that it doesn't have that last bit of polish and creative design that Dark Souls has, you can just feel it here and there where bosses and enemy difficulty swings up and down a little bit more than it would in a tightly designed souls game. Nor is the lore and mystery element anywhere near as compelling as the souls/bloodborne series. Still, that's a high bar!
