I don't know how many of you listen to Geoff Englestein's great podcast Ludology, but for the last year, I've been a guest contributor to the show with my "Biography of a Boardgame" segment where Iook at the history of a board game and its influence on other games.
For the past two episodes, I tried something different, a history of the terms Eurogame and Ameritrash. I figured since many of you might be interested in such a thing, I'd post the link to the podcast.

I was planning on starting a thread over here if no one else did, but I've been busy over the holidays. I learned quite a bit from this segment, surprisingly more then I did with your previous Euro segment. Good stuff, and I think a fairly even-handed appraisal of the positive and negative connotations of the term.
I think many of us may struggle with some of your recommendations, but no one is ever going to agree with any list. Though I believe you had Cosmic Encounter and DungeonQuest, and you can't go wrong there...
