Do you get enough gaming?

Nowhere near enough gaming for me, maybe once or twice a month. The usual suspects are to blame - families and employers. So I'm reduced to gaming vicariously by visiting sites like F:AT. Sigh.

I expect it to pick up a bit when the recession bites and 90% of us are unemployed. Last Night on Earth by candlelight, anyone?

Definitely not since the local club is fortnightly (and Euros, apart from RoboRally).
The Oxford club is weekly butt cut (*) down the hours from seven to four, which screws up Sunday gaming royally, so I stopped going.

EDIT- (*) Is "butt cut" in the F:AT glossary?

Sounds like a plan. Care to namedrop these games? Most of the AT games I own need more than 3-4 players at the minimum. Need more 2-3 player goodness.

These get played the most that I can think of (not necessarily in this order);

Runebound - Best with 2, imo. Still good with 3.
Return Of The Heroes we used to play with 2, but I don't have it anymore.
Arkham Horror - Best with any number as far as I can tell.
DOOM - Best with 3.
War Of The Ring - Best with 2.
Risk: BO - Works with 3, haven't played other numbers to compare.
RoboRally - Works with 3, but better with more.
Last Night On Earth - Good with 2 or 3.

I'm told Fury Of Dracula is good with 3.

I posed a similar question on games that play well with two players, but weren't "2-player games" I got some good responses, but I can't find the thread.

I like Marvel Heroes with 2-4. I think Starcraft was mentioned also.

That's sort of the Game Club metagame, right? Show up and Risk B.O.? or AP, or some other game-goblin problem?

but seriously:

Last Night On Earth - Good with 2 or 3.

I'm told Fury Of Dracula is good with 3.

Both of of those are excellent with 2 or 3. I always think Fury of Dracula bogs with more players.
Last Night scales better, just because you're not always as focused on the "one right place to be", but plays fine at lower numbers.

Others I couldn't tell you...

No, most of it is by PBEM or I play fun games with people who are on the margins in terms of having fun while boardgaming. They enjoy themselves but it is often really missing something.
