Man just got back from the game, about as loud in there as game five against Pens last year, the crowd was unbelievable. Glad to see those thugs finished off- best series I've seen in ages!
Can someone explain how the Bruins CRUSHED the 'Canes all season long and find themselves struggling in the postseason? It's one thing to have played some tight ones and come out ahead, but they just obliterated them time and again. Now it's a wash. I'm a little peeved.
Cam Ward for the Canes has gotten hot at the right time.
Ward hasn't gotten hot. They changed to a more defensive scheme late in the season, which has made Ward look a lot better as he's facing fewer difficult shots. That's been enough to go from a team that would have been eliminated in the first round to one that can extend a series and get lucky in OTs.
I hope the Penguins wipe the floor with them. I'm still bitter about the Canes beating the Sabres years ago.
