Aliens - flash version of the boardgame.
I haven't tried it or looked around the site to see what else is there.

I tried it once. I think it's even more brutal than the board game. I can't remember, but I don't think it had the "Operations & Air Ducts" scenario, and I played that damn reactor room thing so many times when I was little, I think may have had I've had my fill for the rest of my life.

Plus, Hudson only gets a pistol. That's bullshit.

Hudson should also get a knife and a sharp stick.

I've played the flash version a lot recently and it's a blast. Only caveat is that you cannot save between missions. And since you keep surviving marines you have to play the first two missions and play them well if you want to have any chance at all at making it through the final scenario.

Hey, no shit, it does have some other scenarios. Now all they need is the power loader vs. alien queen setup.

My recommended strategies:

Reactor Room: Keep everybody together. Let the guys with the pistols go last, keep them surrounded by guys with better weapons. Apone and hicks should lead, with Vasquez and Drake covering the rear. Always stay north of the stairs, there are fewer drop points IIRC.

Operations: Pray

Rescue Newt: Pray really fuckin' hard.

Played this last night. All my marines died during the first mission. Each one crying like a little bitch.

It was my first go around, but I enjoyed the game a lot. I've yet to figure out everything about the game, but I'm sure that a few more plays will help understand the rules.
