Anyone picking up Tales of the Arabian Nights?

From a post by Zev on Wednesday, it sounds like the reprint of Tales of the Arabian Nights is about a month away from hitting shelves.

The graphic designer has a blog post with some teaser pics from his advance copy.

I haven't played this before, but I think we had a thread quite awhile ago that mentioned it. Anyone planning on buying it?

There isn't a man, woman, or child here at F:AT that shouldn't pick up a copy of this game. Even if you already own it, the new edition looks positioned to be the definitive version of the game. Seriously, this is one of the all-time greats, and I predict that as new players get on board with it we're going to be talking about it- and the bizarre stories it creates- for a long time to come.

I've been trying to focus more on playing what I already have, but I do plan on getting Tales of the Arabian Nights.

And I'll promise to review it. In my case, the review will be a bit more of a dissection, because I know the original game cold--

I figure that the damned Hunchback and Badly Lost will earn at least a few paragraphs. (These are one of quite a few issues with the original.)

Why on Earth is this posted in the Eurogames category?

Does anybody know where Joel lives? Let's set him on fire.

Moved. Didn't know whether to put it into classic or modern though. These forum categories need some help.

Tales has been my Holy Grail for years. I have been on the edge of my seat for like two years waiting for this to be published.

Yesssss, saved by a moderator moving the thread. I know so little about this title that I just guessed "Eurogame" based on the pictures.

I put my location on that damn Google Map thing awhile back, so if anyone wants to bring some gasoline and matches, I'll be ready.

There's way too many (female) boobs in this game for it to be a Euro.

A couple weeks ago I saw the announcement for Middle Earth Quest and was getting all excited and showing my girlfriend. Later, I was thinking a bit about it and asked her, "Do we really need another adventure game? We already have this, this, and this".

She gave me this funny look and laughed at me. Like - Who are you kidding? Of course we want it you dumbass!

So it looks like I should probably check this one out too.
